Wayward Wimmin is a Substack by Rhonda Carrier and Tracey Davies, travel writers, journalists and midlife mavericks.
Renowned for dicking about the world in the name of research, the dastardly duo are surprisingly professional when it comes to travel writing.
Rhonda is one of the leading UK family travel experts. She has written for everyone including National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, Condé Nast Traveller, Metro, Country Life, Red Online, Good Housekeeping, Platinum, Travel Weekly, Culture Trip, Easyjet Traveller, The Observer, Metro, The Telegraph, Lonely Planet, Prima, and The South China Morning Post.
She's also authored and edited travel and guide books for Rizzoli, Frommer's, Time Out, Fodor's and Lonely Planet. In short, she is marvellous and really knows her shit when it comes to travel.
Tracey is a veteran travel writer and her byline is regularly plastered across Metro, The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, The Times and the Sunday Times, the Guardian, the I paper, Country Life, Red Online, Good Housekeeping, Platinum, Breathe, Teen Breathe, and Travel Weekly. She was co-host of the brilliant Carry On travel podcast and is a regular talking head on radio shows and travel panels.
Davies is also a stand-up comedian going by the name of Tracey Danger and can be found gigging around the pubs and comedy clubs of Brighton, Sussex and London.
Both in their fifties, Rhonda Carrier and Tracey Davies want to change the narrative of what it's like to be a woman in midlife. Wayward Wimmin is a collection of their ramblings from travels around the world, parenting teenagers, divorce, menopause, and regular rants about life as a modern woman.
Expect swears and mild sexual content.
